"Are you really okay?"
Concern still colored Su Mian's face, her gaze unable to move away from Lu Zhanxing's injured leg.
Lu Zhanxing smiled at Su Mian, "Mom, don't worry, I'm fine."
He knew clearly that after the car accident, the person who was most worried about him was indeed his own mother.
"It's good that you're fine. Your mom has been losing sleep lately, sigh, it's breaking my heart," Lu Rui said with a tone full of concern for his wife.
Su Mian, embarrassed, lightly smacked Lu Rui, "How can you talk like that in front of the kids? At your age, isn't it embarrassing?"
"You are my wife, can I not worry about you?"
"You're still talking?"
"Alright, alright, I'll stop," Lu Rui teased her, "we'll talk more tonight."
Su Mian, mortified, glared at Lu Rui, signaling him to stop talking.
Seeing his wife blush, Lu Rui's composed face broke into a slight smile.
Watching their interaction, Lu Zhanxing pursed his lips, feeling like he was once again fed a mouthful of dog food.
