Qiao Yun subconsciously looked toward the source of the sound.
In the living room, Su Mian stood up abruptly with a panicked expression and said anxiously, "What did you say? How could this happen?"
"I'll be right there, don't panic," Su Mian said quickly to someone on the other end of the phone.
Qiao Yun paused, told Pei Ya that she had to hang up due to something urgent, and then walked back to the living room to ask Su Mian, "What happened?"
Su Mian said anxiously, "It's your grandfather; he fainted."
When Qiao Yun heard this, she didn't know why, but her heart clenched tightly.
She couldn't help but think of the grandfather who had adopted her.
Su Mian hurriedly said to Qiao Yun, "He has already been taken to the hospital. Qiaoqiao, come quickly and see."
"Okay," Qiao Yun replied. Seeing Su Mian was distraught, she held her hand and softly comforted, "Don't worry, grandpa will be fine."
It was just a fainting spell; it wouldn't be like what happened to her grandfather.
