This meeting was just to clarify matters, and Richard Robinson didn't get to meet Robert Taylor's son, because his son had been temporarily hidden away.
Before she left, Gwen Collins spent some time alone with Richard Robinson.
Gwen had always been a rather straightforward, bold, and fiery person; she wasn't very afraid when facing Richard, and of course, she didn't know what kind of man Richard was.
"Third Master Robinson, I won't beat around the bush with you, just tell me directly what you're thinking, okay?" Gwen asked outright.
She lacked the graceful composure of a lady and the timidness of women from less prestigious families.
"Instead of asking about my intentions, you'd better just tell me your thoughts; that way, I can decide whether to fulfill them or not," Richard replied calmly.
