Alexander Mitchell was sizing up Victoria Garcia, wearing a long, ash coloured T-shirt, black fitted capris, black flat shoes, everything about her looks so simple yet so competent.
Her fluffy slightly curly hair, paired with pearl earrings, added a touch of elegance and femininity to her efficiency.
Alexander had to admit, compared to the short-haired Victoria from before, she had grown more dazzling.
"Please come in," Alexander said invitingly.
Victoria walked in with a file in hand.
As they sat facing each other, Victoria gave Alexander a quick look. His eyes were full of fatigue. As a friend, she couldn't help but feel sorry for him.
"You look a little off, make sure to rest more," Victoria instinctively said.
Alexander was well aware of how haggard he looked lately, but even a simple word of concern from Victoria caught him off guard.
Alexander's gaze fell on the file she was holding and he asked her tentatively, "Is it the plan?"
