Grand Lady Johnson sat on a chair, looking as if she had aged a great deal.
Alfred looked at Grand Lady Johnson with concern and said, "Old Lady, since these matters have already come to light, there's no use thinking about them anymore. If Second Young Master said he won't tell anyone, then he definitely won't. You should set your mind at ease."
Ever since Grand Lady Johnson returned from Arnold Johnson's place that morning, she had been in a state of gray, vacant eyes and sluggish gaze.
"Yes, I should let it go, but there's this anger in my heart that I just can't calm down," Grand Lady Johnson said with a hint of reluctance. "And Chloe, does she have any idea that Arnold Johnson already knows the child in her womb isn't his? If it's not Arnold's, then whose child is it? Or is there even no child at all?"
Grand Lady Johnson had pondered over this question for quite some time now.
