Of course, Victoria was grateful to him in her heart for his involvement in the matter, but that was a separate issue. Gratitude didn't mean they had to start living together again.
On a workday morning, as Victoria opened the door of her room, the door of the room next to hers also opened, and a familiar figure emerged, greeting her, "Victoria, long time no see!"
"You… how come you're here?" Victoria asked in surprise.
Edward Hernandez flipped his hair with a smile and said, "I live right next to you."
"Didn't you buy a villa? Why are you living here now? When did this happen?" Victoria asked, puzzled.
With sincere honesty, Edward replied, "I occasionally stay at the villa, but this place has more of a community feel. From now on, whenever I'm off work and have nowhere to eat, I can come here to freeload off your dinner. Isn't that great?"
