The cave was illuminated by sunlight as a sign of the coming day.
On the stone bed, deep inside the cave, a male tenderly hugged a female who was sleeping soundly in his embrace.
The cave was filled with a serene silence, and the only sound that could be heard was their slow and steady breathing. He gazed at her with a gentle smile, delicately brushed her hair.
The touch of fingers brushing on her forehead gently rose Keira up from her sleep.
Once she was fully awake, she nearly chocked herself to death at how snugly her face was nuzzled against the slopes of his muscled abs, she was embarrassed with how recklessly she slept.
Peering up, she saw a dashing male resting his palm under his jaw and gazing at her.
'which heavenly hell is this?' She couldn't believe she had spent the night with a stranger. Rubbing her eyes, she tried to smack her brain out at how she ended up in his bed.
His mouth curve up, watching her with his enchanting green irises. "Are you.. hungry?" That was what he asked as soon as he locked eyes with her.
She sprung up, feeling embarrassed and unsure of what to say. She started to recall the events from yesterday that had brought her to this cave. She did, however, feel relief when her body was still properly wrapped in a blanket. Thank goodness, nothing happened.
"I'm a little hungry, it would be great if I could get some, er.. fruit."
It was, seriously, challenging to think of an answer while staring at a breath-taking male lying on the bed.. naked, well, barely naked when only his groin was covered by a tiny piece of animal skin, hiding the thick shaft under. 'Hot damn... He is'
After hearing her respond, the male bent in and press a brief kiss on her shoulder. He then said, "I'm going to pick some fruit for you." and sprang out of bed, leaving the cavern.
Flinching at the rush of warmth surging through her body, she blushed and blinked to clear her mind, which was completely crashed by what had just happened. wondering if she was hallucinating or if she had actually just experienced something mystical.
Slowly climbed out of the stone bed and stood there, trying to collect herself with what little sense she still had.
As she glanced around the cave, she took a step and curled her feet at the chill of the stone surface. Though the floor inside the cave was smooth, it would still be best to have footwear.
The experience of walking barefoot through the forest was enough pain for her, so she walked straight to the stack of animal skins, searching for a piece that was thick enough to cover her feet.
_____
While she was choosing an animal skin, Frost returned to the cave with a basket of fruits that he had picked from the forest.
Spotting Keira rummaging through the pile of skins, he quickly set the basket down to help her. "Do you need help? What are you planning to do with these skins?" He sat beside her.
"I need a pair of boots, it was awkward to walk around like this," she replied, picking a piece of brown skin from the pile and handed it to him. "Could you help me cut it?"
He nodded, taking the animal skin. "How do you want me to cut it?" he asked, feeling excited after knowing she wanted his help. Though he didn't know what a boot meant. But judging by her gesture, it must be something to cover those delicate feet.
Then Keira filled him that she wanted ankle boots with sturdy soles for walking on rough terrain. She pointed at the rocky path and mentioned that she preferred if it was waterproof to keep her feet dry in case of rain or puddles.
Frost proceeded to carefully cut it into the shape she'd described, sewing it together with tiny tree vines, and soon he handed the animal hide boots to her.
It's incredible how fast he made these boots. Not only were the cuts perfectly symmetrical, but the stitching was also evenly joined and faultless.
She thanked him and put the boots on. Her expression lit up when she realized they were even better than the leather boots found in stores.
Knowing that what he did was praised by Keira, brought him joy. His heart nearly stop when she smiled, he couldn't help but think she was a goddess. It was obvious that she was one. He wished he could freeze time just to admire her a little longer.
"Is it looking fine?" she inquired, circled around, and strolled a short distance to see if the boots fit her.
He responded, "Yes.." Even though he had never seen anyone wear boots, It suite her well.
Frost raised himself and brought her to the table, setting the fruit basket there. Peaches and vibrant berries were present, the size of these fruits, which were larger than Keira's palms, suggested that the soil in this region must be extremely fertile.
Keira's mouth dropped open as she inspected the fruits, wondering if they tasted as delicious as they looked.
Reaching into the basket, she plucked a peach, chewing on it. The taste was sweet, rich in aroma, with an extra juicy flavor.
"Do you like it?" Frost questioned expectantly. He ventured into the forests and carefully chose only the ripe, insect-free ones.
"Yes, you should eat too, It tastes really sweet." Without realizing that male wolves dislike fruit, Keira gave him a peach. However, Frost took the peach from her palm and munched on it simply just to please the female despite his dislike for the fruit.

_______
After Keira finished her breakfast, Frost picked up an animal hide cloak and draped it over her shoulders, shielding her from the sun's rays. He then guided her out of the cave while still holding her hand.
Keira squinted as her eyes adjusted to the bright light outside, wondering where he would take her next. "Where are we going?"
"We will meet with the witch doctor that I mentioned to you yesterday. He might know how to find your tribe," Frost responded.
Although he didn't want to send her back, he couldn't stop her from leaving. He was aware of how it felt to lose a family, and he didn't want her to go through what he did.
Outside Frost's cavern, there were a few narrow gravel paths. It spread in a variety of ways, demonstrating the areas in which tribe members frequently used it. Frost led her to make a left turn onto a path that led to a sizable mountain with a set of caves on it.
