Jacob entered the room and looked above Atlas' shoulder. He was stunned to see how far along he is already. They only started to work on the game a few days ago.
He took a seat next to him and Atlas smiled at him. He smiled back. Atlas looked at him and asked:
"Are you feeling better?"
Jacob looked at him confused and Atlas said:
"Even if I know that you're okay with ending things with Elwyn you were together a long time."
Jacob said:
"It's true that I felt a little down and there were times when I wondered if I made the right decision but then I thought about his remarks when I told him how better things were between me and father."
He only realized now that Elwyn used his need for connexion to manipulate him so he would always tell him to show his father how better than him he is instead of trying to resolve the issue.
