Yawen knocked on the door and came in when he heard Yuning's voice. He smiled at him. Yuning was writing and said:
"Have a seat."
Yawen took a seat. He looked at Yuning as he wrote slightly nervous. Those past two days he's been trying to get in touch with him but couldn't.
He knows he shouldn't feel nervous when he set a date to announce their relationship but he does.
Yuning asked his head still on the papers:
"Is everything ready for the ball?"
"It is."
Yuning looked up and put his pen down.
"We need to talk."
Yawen asked with a gentle smile despite his anxiousness:
"Of course."
Yuning looked at this smile he used to believe was the most lovely and felt nothing.
He said:
"I believe it would be best for us not to go further and keep our relationship professional."
Yawen's smile faded and his heartbeat quickened. He asked calmly:
"What made you change your mind?"
