Lucian explained as Kian sat up:
"It allows you to recover energy faster after using such a powerful spell. I just need to make a cut on your hand, then hold it. You'll absorb my essence and feel better."
Kian looked at Lucian and his eyes darkened. He yelled:
"Even now, you keep lying to me!"
Lucian asked:
"What are you talking about?"
Kian said:
"I know that this is to transfer half of your life to me, I'm not stupid despite what you think Lucian."
Lucian felt stunned that he knew of that practice. It took him days to find it since it's ancient. Maybe Kian found it when he searched for a way to keep living, despite being a heretic.
Lucian said:
"With it, you won't die in a few weeks."
Kian asked:
"Do you think I would ever accept your help? Are you insane?"
Lucian said:
"I'm just trying to help you. Then, if you want to stay away from me, it's fine."
