Atlas walked to the empress dowager's room and the twins felt their heartbeat quicken. The guards opened the doors and they entered.
They froze in shock, the empress dowager was sitting around the table about to drink tea. As soon as she saw her grandson she smiled brightly and put the cup down. Atlas shook the twins' hands and they woke up.
They walked to her and she stood up to hug them. Ling Saifei hugged her grandsons tightly. She can't believe that they are the only person left in her family. She always knew there was something dark about the Beis, and she was right.
She had a bad feeling about them, even if she had no reason to. They dared to wipe out almost all her family, if it hadn't been for Atlas, she would have died and so would the twins, she's sure of it.
Just before she woke up, she received visions of what had happened when she was asleep. She still can't believe how powerful Atlas is. She's glad that the twins had him at their side.
