I stared at the door after she closed it behind her.
What gift?
A smile crept into my face when I remembered. The gift! I promised back in Rio to give her one if she would succeed in riding the bike all the way back to me.
I went out and turned to her room. Room 715 on the right.
Before I could knock, the door opened. She is now carrying a laundry bag and it looks like she added her own clothes.
"What kind of gift would you want?" I asked, looking back up to her face.
"I'm not sure. There's nothing I want at the moment."
"Okay. Let me know if you had thought about it," I smiled.
"I'll see you in the park," she said and was about to pass by me.
"Where will I see you? The park is rather big."
She contemplated for a moment.
"I'll see you in Ballfields café. We can have coffee before going on a run."
"Okay. See you there."
"But remember, we shouldn't go near each other."
