It was few minutes past 10pm when I walked back to our room. I am secretly hoping that Jade decided to sleep with Zhanat after what happened.
I pursed my lip when I saw her on her bed, reading a finance book.
She brought a book and she's reading, totally unbothered. Unlike me.
Arlan and Miras aga were already fast asleep in their own beds.
I lied down on my bed next to hers and got inside my blanket with as less noise as I can manage. I made the blanket cover me from head to toe and I pulled out my phone and earphones from my pocket.
Music is one of my favorite distractions. I hope this will distract me from my thoughts tonight.
It was already 12 midnight but I'm still wide awake, thinking about the things I can say to her tomorrow and things I can do to make everything okay again.
