Sid had a sad look on his face as he walked away from his friend. For the first time in his life, he straight up lied to him. And this destroyed Sid mentally. He felt really guilty lying just like that. He thought what he was doing was morally wrong. However, he felt like what he was doing was kinda saving his friend for some reason. And if he had the opportunity to do this all over again, he would gladly do that for Sam.
"What happened to you?" Rose waved her arm before Sid's face.
"Ah, it's nothing." Sid spoke, snapping out of his thoughts.
"Ok, good. So, how are you doing today?" She asked as she hugged Sid and planted a kiss on his cheek. One could see Sid's face melting away in happiness as that happened.
"Good, I guess." Sid mumbled.
At that point, Rose stopped hugging Sid and started staring straight into his face. "Something happened, right?" She asked.
