Sam was tired at this point. He had to do all those cleaning up and stuff and to see Jane sleeping peacefully just like that kinda irked him. So, he was all into waking her up aggressively, but even after he did that, she slept like a fucking bear!
"Jane, wake up! Wake up!" Sam screamed his throat off as he tried waking her up.
"Yea, yea. Gimme two minutes now, will ya? Just two minutes and I'll get up." Jane cried as she slowly opened her eyes before quickly closing it.
"Sure. I did the thing that you asked me to do, so there, I did my job." Sam shrugged as he said that. "Anyhow, I'll be leaving for my job and I hope you're leaving as well since you got that thing to do. I haven't made any breakfast because I usually don't do that shit." He spoke.
"What shit? Breakfast?" Jane asked.
"Yea. It's too hard, you know? I mean, I usually either wake up late or I don't have the time to make any sort of food. So, I don't eat in the morning. And saves money as well. So, there's that." He replied.
"But isn't breakfast the most important food of the day?" She asked.
"I mean, that's what people say, but what can I do if I can't help it?" Sam shrugged. "Anyhow, I'm gonna leave now. Even though this is now your apartment as well, I hope that you don't litter this place. And even if you are, then stay clear of my room. Because now that the entirety of this apartment isn't my sanctuary, I have confined my room into one. So, don't get in there and make a mess or I'm gonna be angry." Sam replied.
"Why don't you lock the door or something so that no one can enter?" Jane suggested.
"I mean, now that I think about it, that's a pretty good idea. Why didn't I think about it? Hmm, maybe it's because I love creating chaos. Anyhow, I'mma leave now and let you have all the fun. Bye." Sam waved his hand goodbye as he left the room.
"Trust me bruv, it ain't gonna be fun if you ask me." Jane sighed as she slowly got up and thought about the day ahead of her.

"Ha, to think that I would have to return to this place…" Sam sighed as he stared at the building before him.
Suddenly a guy came up from behind and jumped over his shoulder. "Why are you speaking as if you were not planning to return to this place ever again?" He asked.
"Oh, hey Sid." Sam turned towards the guy and looked really uninterested as he gave off the greetings.
"Bro, you sound so down. Why is that the case?" He asked.
"Ah, you do overtime like I did last Saturday and then have a hectic Sunday as well, then you will feel the same way as I do." Sam shrugged as he said that.
"Speaking of a hectic Sunday, I heard that you got a new roommate." Sid spoke.
"Man, I didn't even tell you about that! Where did you hear that from?" Sam looked surprised as he asked that.
"Mate, you forgot that me and Mr Ken are homies, didn't you? I mean, he even grows my favorite strain!" Sid laughed as he said that.
"Why is he even growing your—ah, screw it. So, he told you, huh?" Sam asked.
"Yea, so how is she?" He asked back.
"Hmm, I don't know bruh. It's too early to give an opinion. I mean, it's bound to change with time, right?" Sam shrugged.
"I guess." Sid nodded his head as he spoke. "Anyhow, it seems like you are having a phase of constant change, huh?"
"Hmm?" Sam looked confused when he heard his friend say that.
"Oh, you didn't hear the news, huh? You're gonna get a new table partner today." Sid looked all cheerful as he said that.
"Goodness. I mean, I'm happy that I won't have to do extra shifts, but still… All these changes are getting me creeped up and stuff. I don't know if I'll be able to cope up with it and stuff. Let's just see, I guess." Sam sighed. Now he felt really tired at this point.
"You will. You will… I mean, at some point, you will. Or else, you might have to force yourself into it. Or else, you'll be having a hard time." Sid spoke. "Anyhow, did you have your breakfast and stuff?" He asked.
"No."
"Gosh, you ain't gonna have your food if I don't ask you, huh?" Sid looked annoyed as he asked that.
"I probably won't even after you asked me about it." Sam replied.
"No, that ain't gonna do. You are gonna have your food and you're gonna have it, no questions asked." Sid seemed quite adamant as he said that.
"Shut up, lad. You're not me mom!" Sam was equally pissed about all of this as well.
"Well, mate! I've been in contact with your mom recently and she's quite concerned about you as well!" Sid replied.
"Why the hell are you in contact with everyone who's close to me?" Sam looked hella confused during all this talk.
"I mean, how long have I known you for. We've been best buddies ever since we had the same room in college. And we've been best friends since then. So, it would be damn weird if I don't know your people!" Sid replied.
"You're right about that, I guess." Sam nodded his head in agreement.
"So, you're gonna come eat food now?" Sid asked.
"Yea, just cuz you asked me so nicely." Sam shrugged as they went towards the nearest burger joint. "I don't know man, for some reason, I'm getting this bad omen and stuff."
"Why do you feel so?" Sid asked.
"I mean, I don't know. It's not like I'm straight up looking for a bad omen and stuff. It's more like I'm feeling it and I can't help it." Sam shrugged as he felt as if the day was gonna go down in the drain.
