"Ah… That's deep, I guess." Veronica mumbled.
"Well, I guess it is as well." Sam nodded his head as he replied. "Anyhow, it would be better if we stay broken up. Although that would mean that I'd probably never have another girlfriend." He chuckled as he said that.
"That just might be possible." Veronica laughed.
"Hey, that wasn't the response I was looking for. I was hoping that you would say something along the lines of 'Nah, you don't have to worry about that. You're such a nice guy that girls would flock around you in no time!' or some shit like that." Sam shrugged.
"Well, that would be me lying, right?" Veronica gave out a smug smile as she said that.
"Oh, that was a low blow. Kicking a man when he's down, huh?" He asked.
"You look perfectly fine, if you ask me." Veronica shrugged this time around.
"Yea, maybe I am… Maybe what you said was the truth as well and I'm probably never gonna have a girlfriend ever again." Sam sighed.
