"The dad I've seen slaving away all these years was not a loser. Not in my eyes. Don't break it for me!" Henry argued.
"But, the work I did… Well, it was nothing compared to the work your mum put in, you know? I'm often ashamed about how little I worked compared to her. Like, the reason you kids grew up in a good environment was all because of her. If the responsibility was all on me, I would've fucked it up." Henry's dad spoke.
"Oh, shut your trap, you old man! Can't you see your son saying that isn't the case? Even if his mom worked hard, that doesn't mean that the work you did has to be discredited, right?" Jane asked, as she bonked him on the head.
"Jane is right. I mean, I love mom and everything she did for us and it's the same when it comes to you, dad. I appreciate what you did for the family as well." Henry smiled as he said that.
