Another day on this planet in the Caribbean with temperatures reaching 34 degrees Celsius. I was just trying to walk around the campus trying to not get lost, enjoy a little music in my ears, but then the sun had other plans.
by the time I got back to the dorm, I was covered in sweat. I took out my clothes and headed to the showers. didn't even notice that the others were in the room at the time.
I went to the showers which were surprisingly less crowded than it was this morning. I got a shower and headed back to my room.
"That was fast!" A new voice exclaimed "you are Christopher right"
"Yeah who is asking" My name is Kenrick and on the be over there is Kelwanye and the one with the headphones is O'Konnor, " it's pronounced Connor but with a K and we are your roommates.
"I figured that out pretty easy"
that was probably the most awkward first meeting yet.
Their names are questionable, they could form a group, K, K and OK. but it probably would be in their best interest to not tell anyone that they are living together. Must be a mistake on the universities part.
For the rest of the day, I just used my devices the internet here is quite good compared to the one at the library or the one back at my old school. The night has started peacefully, as peaceful has a university block with over a hundred 18 plus year-olds.
I was ready to get some sleep until Kenrick came over to my bed and he told the other boys to leave the room.
I was pretty shocked at the level of command he had.
" do you have any idea why you are here?"
"My good grades" I answered. I was about the leave the room as well to prevent any conflict in my first week of University but I couldn't find the strength to get up.
You signed up for the desert eagle scholarship didn't you, and Don't even try to lie" I nodded my head to his question.
"I know who you are and I don't know which guy on this planet would have agreed to take a scholarship from such a website. You must have been pretty desperate. Oh well, you will be paying us back in due time.

I then saw Kenrick go over and reach for something under his bed. the lights in the room were a bit dim at the moment but I saw it, it was a black piece of metal with a right angle bend.
