Chapter 18 - Bonus Chapter

Kayleigh's pov

It's been a year since I remarried Eddie and I have never been happier. We remarried a week after he proposed to me in Hawaii. The wedding took place by the beach the following week, it was always my dream to marry by the beach with only my close friends and family. Eddie made it happen with the help of our family and friends, it was like a beautiful dream from which I never wanted to wake up. There was so much family drama before wedding but we got through all that with just a tiny help from martinis, for throughout those 6 days. Eddie and I decided if we want to get through this without having our heads blown out we need to always be drunk and let's just say after a few drinks it was nothing but a tv show for us. You might be wondering what kind of drama we would have been through, well let me try to make it as short as possible for you. As you remember when Eddie proposed me our friends Jay, Beth, Dan, Sam, Luke and Emily were already present there so after the proposal we walked back to my beach house and we found my parents, Eddie's parents, Patsy and her husband waiting for arrival so they can pop the champagne bottle. After celebrating for an hour or two my dear sister-in-law popped the question, "So when are you two planning to get married?" I looked at Eddie for help but he just shrugged answering, "I don't marrying you today! Besides we are already married so let's make it as soon as possible." that's when my mum suggested, "Why don't you get married here? It has always been Leigh's dream to marry by the beach." I looked at all of them confused, I felt like everyone had grown second head "How is it even possible to marry so quick? Doesn't wedding preparations take forever beside we definitely have to bounce back for work in a week tops." Dan rolled his eyes and spoke like it was the most obvious thing, "Look at the talented women in the room, I am sure you all can pull off more than one wedding within a week." I looked at all the women present in the room and they all looked at me with puppy dog eyes leaving me no option but to nod. I tensed up at the thought of anything going wrong at the wedding maybe Eddie sensed my nervousness and held my hand to comfort me. Not only women got into wedding preparations but my dad, Patrick, Dan and Luke helped with the wedding preparations or more like they helped threaten the wedding designer, caterer and every other team involved in making our day perfect. The world war 3 started when Jay came back after 2 days to declare dramatically that 'if we want to get married he will officiate the wedding or else there shall be no reunion for us!' I seriously don't know how he managed to get the officiating license in just two days but that made every human present in room want to officiate our wedding. Lucky for us that Eddie had both of us drunk so their war only amused us, we literally haven't done anything in that whole week apart from drinking. As for Haley, well that lucky toddler enjoyed the show along with spending time with each one of us. At one point we even lost Haley for half hour during dress trial; when I rushed back to the dress store with Eddie, I found her playing with the designer. I was sobbing miserably assuming I am a terrible mother but Eddie calmed me down and later drove us to McDonald's to buy me a big Mac. Honestly Eddie and I had no clue what our wedding was going to be like but it didn't really mattered to us as the only thing mattered was that we get to spend our rest of the lives together. Dad walked me down the aisle to an impatient Eddie who looked at me with tears filled in his eyes, the wedding was set on the beach and behind us was the setting sun. Our ring bearer was Haley, we didn't have to pick a new ring as we had technically chosen this ring together. We exchanged our vows in front of our officiator Jay, our friends and family who were nothing but happy with our reunion. After the wedding ceremony, we headed to our reception which took place by the gazebo. After an hour or two of dancing and chatting with everyone I excused myself to use the washroom. I entered the house and went straight to the nearest room which was taken by Emily but I figured she was in the reception and she definitely won't mind if I use her rest room. I slipped inside her room and held the door knob of the washroom to push it open; there she was making out with the most unexpected person, they sensed my presence and immediately stopped to explain me. I just couldn't hold the laughter in so I bursted in to the fit of laughter. This day is certainly the most memorable day for more than just two people. I chuckled while driving, 'shit I was zoned out again'. I looked at the surrounding to notice I have almost reached home. I pulled in the driveway, got down from the car and punched in the code for our house. The moment I got in, the group of people screamed 'SURPRISE', I faked to be surprise and my darling husband walked over to me and enveloped me in a warm kiss "Happy Anniversary Darling!" I smiled holding my growing baby bump and wished him back, "Happy Anniversary to you too!!".
