In this world, everybody mostly used the same language. That also means they constantly changed their main language. They constantly fought against spirits but other than that, they lived peacefully. The world turned upside down then people discovered they can use magical energy called "chi" to fight the spirits. They thought it was a good thing they should teach everybody, but the laws couldn't be applied faster than people learning the chi. Soon, wars broke out and some overpowered others. Some clans were stronger and some were weaker. To stop the world from going into war, they decided to make scrolls containing a random bloodline/element. Everybody has a chance to get any power of any other clan. It was perfect in their eyes and it did calm the countries and made peace. The world was still far from calm. Criminals and corrupt justice are common everyday things.
