Sam glanced at Anan again, then looked back into his daughter's eyes. Actually Sam knew about the date night incident, how Riko treated Casandra and what they did, but Sam kept quiet and didn't discuss it at all. Now... Casandra asks permission again to go out with Riko.
"You want to go on a date, is that all?" asked Sam to make sure.
"Yes, father" Casandra replied thumping. "Okay, I'll allow it but remember, Anan is still there by your side. And one more thing... Dad will give a gift to the young man. What do you think Anan?" said Sam, who had been observing Anan's angry behavior.
"You are very generous, sir," Anan replied, hiding his anger with a smile.
"I assume you agree"
"Thank you Dad," Casandra said with a happy heart.
"Okay, then you continue your task. Sorry father for disturbing your study time" said Sam.
"No dad, I'm the one thanking you. I love you" Casandra replied with a sweet kiss on the screen of her cellphone.
