Sam takes Anan to his room, Anan doesn't understand, all this time he really admires Sam. But why is the person Anan admires being rude to him? Doni untied the handcuffs that bound Anan's hands, then told Anan to sit in front of Sam.
"Long time no see you." said Sam looking at Anan carefully.
"Actually, what is your purpose in bringing me here sir?" asked Anan looking intently.
Seeing that Anan was so serious, Sam knew he didn't need to talk anymore. "I want you to make amends. Tell me Anan, what punishment do you deserve?" said Sam coldly.
Anan was silent, the hat incident was unintentional. Anan really did not know that the confiscated hat was his daughter Sam's hat. Now what should Anan do, fight? In what way should Anan fight back? If it was a fist fight, he might still be capable, but what he was dealing with were the powerful people of this city. Wealth became his strength, something that Anan could not match in this regard.
"No answer? Let me decide" a thin smirk appeared on Sam's calm face. Meanwhile, Anan is still waiting for Sam's decision with a restless heart.
"What if you make up for your mistakes by cooperating with me?" said Sam, pulling a contract out of his desk drawer.
"Cooperation?" Anan does not understand Sam's invitation, what does it mean to work together? Anan whispered in his heart.
"You're going to work for me," Sam answered quickly.
"Working for him? So what? Even to become a cleaning service, you have to have a bachelor's degree!" Anan muttered in his heart.
Anan is self-aware, even though his brain is smart, he only has a high school diploma. Education had to be stopped because he could not continue his studies.
"Working... For you?" asked Anan doubtfully.
"Yes. I'll make you my daughter's bodyguard," Sam replied with a sharp smile.
"What?!" Ana is surprised.
"Was my speech not clear enough? You know I'm not the type to repeat my words!" Sam glared at him.
Anan looks worried. Being Sam's bodyguard is tantamount to bringing his life to death. Moreover, what he has to take care of is the only daughter of the company owner, Ranu Manunggal.
"Sorry sir, but I can't," answered Anan with a sad face. Anan knew that Sam would not accept his refusal.
"You don't want to? Fine. Then I'll jail you for stealing with an indefinite penalty. Oh yeah, one more thing. I'm closing your sister's shop." said Sam, putting the contract back into his drawer.
What! This is really unfair. Anan muttered in his heart. The person in front of him was arrogant and self-absorbed, as if wanting to dominate and wanting to get what he wanted at any cost.
"You can punish me, but what's my sister's fault that you want to destroy her too!" said Anan did not accept.
"Aren't you her brother? Then he must also bear the blame for not being able to properly educate you!"
"You... "
Doni immediately ambushed Anan who was standing and approached Sam. "Let him go Doni, I wonder what he's going to do, a chance for me to increase his sentence," said Sam, glaring at him.
Doni's hands immediately let go of Anan, Sam was right in front of his face now. "Think carefully about my offer." said Sam immediately turned around leaving Anan in his room.
That afternoon Casandra sat on a park bench, throwing food for the swan swimming in front of her. However, even though her hands moved to feed, her sights and thoughts were far away.
Casandra got a chance to get closer to Rio, she should be happy because her dream came true. But as if there was another feeling stuck in her heart.
"Miss, it is almost night. Come on in, get ready for dinner," said Tira, Casandra's loyal servant.
"Is dad home yet?" Casandra asked tiredly.
"Yes miss. Mr. Sam is at home," he answered.
Casandra gave the leftover goose food to Tira, then they walked into the main room.
"Father ..." Casandra said immediately ran to hug spoiled.
"Where have you been dear, even father came home you did not welcome me" said Sam while kissing his daughter's head.
"Sorry dad, I was playing in the lake earlier."
Sam, Riyu and Casandra sat in the living room and chatted warmly. They chatted a lot while occasionally laughing because of the funny stories that came out of Casandra. Until finally Casandra's eyes stared at the glass cabinet not far from the room.
Casandra was surprised, she slowly approached and saw that her eyes were not wrong. "Isn't that hat on that asshole? W... Why are you here now?" Casandra muttered in surprise.
"I took it from the man. Casandra why didn't you tell me your hat was stolen?" said Sam looking closely. He wanted to know his daughter's behavior, when he found out what Casandra was trying to cover up.
Casandra was silent with a worried heart. What about the fate of that man? Father must have beaten him or even killed him! Casandra shuddered at the thought of it all.
"Father, did you hurt the man?" Cassandra asked.
"He received the punishment he deserved dear"
Casandra was getting more and more anxious to hear her father's answer. "Dad, he accidentally took my hat. This... Just a misunderstanding. You didn't hurt him did you?"
Sam looked at Casandra who was worried. "Sorry dear, but the punishment still applies. So he doesn't have to be rude to my daughter either. Doni has told me everything, even you had a fight with him. Now let's have dinner. I'm hungry." Sam led Riyu to the dining table, while Casandra was still staring at her hat in silence.
"Sam, why don't you just tell Casandra? Look at her worried face, she must think you killed the young man" said Riyu.
"Shh. He'll find out later, honey. I'm sure Anan will accept my offer. And... If I tell Casandra now, she'll definitely refuse if she finds out I'm preparing another bodyguard for her."
"You are." Ryu said. While Sam smiled because of his wife's gentle pinch.
After dinner Casandra went straight to her room. He paced in front of the bed biting his finger.
"Ouch. I don't have Sis Sanya's cell phone number. How about this? Is that annoying guy still alive or already…. Aaahhh no… No… Sis Sanya must be sad, she really loves her little brother." Casandra mumbled to herself.
"This is all Uncle Doni's fault! Why did he have to complain to father! Why can't the person who was asked to be close to me keep it a secret at all!"
Casandra stomped her foot, she threw herself on the bed, staring blankly at the ceiling of her room.
Suddenly, Anan's eyes with bright lenses appeared in front of her, the memory of how they first met returned to Casandra who was still drifting in her empty dreams.
"Wait, why am I so worried about him. Haahhh, annoying! But tomorrow I have to find Sis Sanya, no matter what! I wonder what happened to the cake man."
Casandra turned off a few lights and got ready for bed, wishing she could get some sleep so she could wake up early the next day.
