They hugged for a long time, pouring out the longing from the separation of the past few days. Anan turned to stand behind Mahesa, looking at the young lady who was enjoying her father's embrace. He was also happy, it meant that Sam's family was at peace again and they would be reunited with Sam's lonely house.
"That's the bond between a child and a parent, no matter how mature a child is, parents will still think of a child who still needs protection and attention," said Mahesa to Anan, his eyes still hadn't moved from Sam and Casandra in front of them.
"You're right, sir, and you managed to bring them back together. Hopefully the two can understand each other later," Anan replied in response to the conversation.
"Yes. Even though Sam actually objected because I had told Casandra about his bad childhood, but... If he hides it, I don't think Casandra will ever realize her father's struggles" Mahesa then stared intently at the young bodyguard.
