The authorities personated themselves to the commotion, two hours later...
There they checked the registries and noticed that the robbers were from the 'Red Blood' Gang... however, they were bewildered to find that all of them were dead in the scene...
'What the hell happened here...'
One of the officers, Chief Richarson of the Barnet district walked through the crime scene with an expression more than a little confused.
He gave those crooks the green light to steal this bank, what he never expected was to find the dead corpses in the scene with the money missing.
They're supposed to give him 60% of the entire loot, who the hell is he going to take the money from now?!
'Those bastards didn't even pay for the logic bomb goddammit, now I have to confiscate it and use it as proof in the case.' He grits his teeth and awaited the moment he'd get the report from the cameras.
Alas.
When he received the report from the cameras, he was even more confused.
"Sir, we... we don't know what this is, none of the detectors was able to realise the presence of this shadow, we don't know where it came from or its precedence... nothing detected it, as if it was blank..."
"... that can't be, surely difference in colouration should have made the cameras detect it, how come none of them is triggering results?!"
"We don't know sir, it's as if the cameras don't catch that thing's existence... we believe it's some sort of camouflage enhancement that might be new in the market, we're placing teams to track the engineer that developed it." Rather than a person, all along Chief Richardson had been speaking with a robot, one with a modern AI.
"Trace it! take the logic bomb and call the disposal unit." He gave his last orders and prepared to leave, be it as it may, he has to clean his name from everywhere that it stains, this outcome wasn't something he expected... this kind of technology, only V2 could do it, unless... it's from outside.
'Great, now aside from the destitution nonsense, there is also a new camouflage flight technology in the streets...'

The next day, while the officers wreacked their brains, Morpheus walked through the food stalls in Barnet, his energy still recovered.
Yesterday he had to create another subdimension in this world with the use of space laws.
A spell that took a lot of energy and that left him empty... once again feeling aggrieved, he had worked so hard to become the almighty Magic God, and now that he's here, a mere spell to create a sub-dimension left him empty.
Not only that, but the one in Artorska, he didn't have access to it anymore... two hundred thousand years worth of treasures, lost.
But it's not wise to cry over spilt milk, right now, he just wants to have one of Rachel's dishes.
When the cute Rachel saw him coming, she sighed in relief, now with two customers, two men of about the same age ate some paste with mashed beef and regarded the youngster.
"Morpheus, you're okay... you had me worried... that incident that took place in the English Bank... I thought you had been involved, it happened shortly after you left."
"Don't worry Rachel, I'm okay... I enjoyed the entire incident, those crooks really knew how to do the job."
"You were there all along!?"
"Huh... no, I mean... I saw it through the television." He lied just for the sake of relieving the woman's stress.
"I don't know why I don't believe you..."
"Have I ever lied to you grams?"
"We only know each other for a day..."
"Fair enough... what do you have for me today?" He took out a full thousand pounds in cash and presented it on the table.
!!!!
That was the moment the other grandpas almost spit their food, who comes to buy a meal with that much money!?
'With that, you could get the entire food you want!' Rachel wanted to cry but couldn't, because she can't imagine he came with all that for her!
"I want four different meals, grams. As tasty as you can make them." He curled his lips up, knowing full well that she is not going to take it for free, but there is no issue, he has ten million in cash money that he doesn't need, just planning to have it there in case it's needed.
Money is always needed regardless of the world, city or realm.
Two hundred thousand years of experience can tell you that much.
"Sweetheart... I... can't accept that..." She stuttered with her eyes glued at the money... as much enticing as the money looked, she couldn't just 'unintentionally' scam this young man, especially when he doesn't have even a place to fall to his death.
"Come on Rachel... take it... yesterday I paid a hundred-twenty for two meals so... if we make calculations with this I can get four, right?" He smiled handsomely, only overshadowed by the ridiculousness of the statement he just said.
!!!
'WHO THE FUCK TAUGHT YOU MATHS!?' The two grandpas wanted to curse out loud, one of them even had to fix his mechanic jaw that almost fell.
"T-That..." His words filled her with warmth and amusement but she still thought about refusing, it's too much money for just four meals without fuel.
Each meal is worth three pounds for god's sake!
"Come on... four is not enough? okay, five meals... give me five meals!" He smiled once again and even leaned forward, turning it into a contagious smile that finally made her giggle.
"You're such a treasure... okay... I will accept it Morpheus... you don't know how much it means to me..." She took the money with moistened eyes, with this she would be able to pay this month's 'fee' and still have money for their house.
"Don't worry Rachel... I know... I know how it is to sacrifice yourself for someone that doesn't appreciate it..." He smiled and reminisced the past, one that still hurt a bit.
!!!
"..." She bit her lips and said nothing, there were no words to say at this stage.
"Brat, I'll sell you a piece of shit for two hundred pounds, will you take it!?" One of the grandpas couldn't hold himself back, since this brat is so adamant about wasting his money, might as well aid him, innit?
To think he just called a 'God', brat...
"Don't get cocky, old man... who cares about your dump? take it home..." He retorted with a nonchalant expression and went back to his thoughts, much to the grandpa's chagrin.
The grandpa could only sigh and dump the shit away, in this world, there are people that have so much money that they will even spend it in shit, one can only try, right?
Rachel giggled and got to work, five meals were a lot to prepare, but she's determined to pay him well for the money she obtained.
...
Meanwhile, Morpheus watched her peacefully as she cooked, the two other men departed and paid for their food, not before giving him a slight glare, their minds seemed to be saying 'Rich kids these days...'
But the Magic God was deep within his mind.
'I seem to be smiling a lot more lately, could it be that father was right...?' He had been feeling a better mood indeed, perhaps because of this mysterious new world that filled with his curiosity as if he found a new toy to play with.
But deep within that joy, there was a dark spot.
The same thought would be coming back to his mind, how great would he be, if he could roam around this world with Yaksha... just the two of them thriving and moving together to discover the greatness and the secrets of this world dominated by Qubits.
Morpheus could only curse at himself and the fact that he didn't feel any sadness over this fact.
Regardless of whether he loved her or not, Yaksha was his wife for a hundred thousand years... they had thousands of children, raised and educated all of them by themselves, dominated and joined their realms in harmony... and she loved him with all she got.
For a hundred thousand years, every single day, they saw each other's faces every morning and every evening... there is no way such a thing won't impact him after losing it.
It felt as if he lost a limb he didn't know he had.
'It's okay... she's going to be with someone better... gods are prone to change partners frequently... she will find someone...' This thought pained him but also filled him with relief because their last years together were ones where Yaksha was mostly sad.
One could even say that amidst the gods, his and Yaksha's is the relationship that has lasted the most, most gods get bored soon and change partners, this was also her case before they were together, but since she settled with him, she seemed to have come to reason to never have any other partner again.
It seemed to have reached that stage where she in the past got bored of her relationship with other gods and demigods, leaving them permanently, this time, however, she believed that it was him that got bored of her... nothing farther from reality... the truth is that he never loved her to begin with, only appreciated her company, but she was too blindly infatuated to notice this fact.
Once she noticed it thought, everything had fallen like dominoes and a part of him couldn't bear to see her saddened self... so like a coward he ran, but what he expected didn't occur, she didn't just find someone else, the billions of years old goddess chased him relentlessly, madly...
Now that he has reached this juncture, he can safely say that perhaps... he truly loved Yaksha all along, otherwise, why would he be missing her now?
'You don't know what you have until you lose it...'
It's too late to regret anything... one can let pain impact one's heart, but one can't allow pain to remain within the heart.
"Here... are you okay, Morpheus?" She placed the first dish down for him to eat, he didn't even realise when she finished cooking.
"... Yes, Rachel... I'm okay." He took the 'fork' and started to eat the pasta.
'Carbonara'
It is delicious.
"..." He's obviously not okay.
