Chapter 3 - Part 2

At 20.13, Azam rushed to get his things out of the room. After that, he met his old boarding house neighbors who were busy chatting on the boarding house terrace.

Azam:

"I'm leaving, okay?"

Neighbor: "Where are you going to change boarding houses?"

Azam: "Still quite close from here.",

"Oh Yes, I want to leave things. Because I can't carry them all at once."

Neighbors:

"Just put it, I'll put it in my room later."

Azam: "Okay, I'll take it tomorrow."

Neighbors:

"Don't forget to play here once in a while?"

Azam:

"Don't worry. I'll play here once in a while.",

"Then I'll go first, okay? Bye." Azzam said goodbye.

Neighbors:

"Be careful Zam..."

After saying goodbye to his boarding house neighbors, he immediately went downstairs. He walked along with his moving belongings to the highway, then took public transportation to Omah's boarding house.

At 20.47.

"Finally arrived." Azam said as he put the suitcase in front of the gate of Omah's boarding house.

For a moment he stared at the Omah boarding house alley, it seemed to form a narrow, elongated alley that looked very lonely and dark.

He turned his gaze back to the gate lock, then hurriedly took the gate key from his pocket. The boarding house gate opened and then closed again by him.

He walked again while dragging his suitcase through the bathroom on the left, he stopped his steps for a moment, looked at the main bedroom door which was on the right facing the alley, it looked empty and dark.

Then he stepped back into the dormitory. The first six steps He passed a main bedroom door on the left, and seemed closed. The second six steps, he passed through two boarding room doors facing each other. The third six steps, He passed through the two doors of the room facing each other the last one, looking empty and closed. And one step later, he started to climb the stairs.

Step by step he climbed the stairs and now he was upstairs. He walked straight to the iron chair, he put his things near the iron chair. Now he started to land his buttocks on the iron chair while looking ahead, towards the guardrail.

"Hahhh.." Azam let out a tired breath.

"Crack, crack,"

"Fyuuuuuh,"

"Even tired feels gone, if you smoke." Azam said in his heart while removing cigarette smoke from his mouth.

15 minutes later.

"Ah, I still feel tired. Wash your face first."

Azam woke up and walked six steps into the bathroom. He entered the bathroom and did not close the bathroom door. He bent half his body towards the faucet against the wall.

"Krucuuuuk" Splashing tap water was opened by him.

He began to wash his hands, then his feet, and now he was washing his face.

"Hussssssss.."

A gust of wind blew against his neck. He was silent and stopped, his hands held his neck, the hairs all over his body were goosebumps, his feelings began to feel uncomfortable, and the atmosphere was suddenly quiet, lonely, silent and tense. Coupled with being on the top floor is only alone.

He remained silent while glancing his eyes outward, and it was clearly seen in his eyes that the figure of a woman in a white dress (kuntilanak) was standing staring at him from the guardrail, exactly one meter from the iron chair he was sitting on while smoking.

His long hair covered half of his face, his face was not very visible because it was covered by the nets that were installed around the guardrail.

Instantly the hairs all over his body went back up goosebumps non stop. He remained silent and began to glance his eyes back at the faucet. Spontaneously in his heart a suspicion arose.

"Has actually the figure of the woman in the white dress (Kuntilanak) been standing for a long time? When I was smoking? Does that mean all this time? I was accompanied by her."

Even though his hair had goosebumps, Azam continued to wash his face again.

After washing his face, Azam tried to get up the courage to look and stare at the figure of the woman in the white dress. He slowly started to move his body towards the guardrail, and at the same time the figure disappeared somewhere.

Then Azam came out of the bathroom and walked towards the guardrail. Arriving at the guardrail he spoke.

"Hadeeeeuh.."

After that, he took his things which were placed on the edge of the iron chair, then he walked to the door of his new room. He walked towards the door of the room while looking at the guardrail that the kuntilanak figure had just visited. Now he has arrived in front of the door to his room, he is still staring at the guardrail, he spoke again in a low tone.

"If you want to get acquainted, go ahead, if you want to bring sustenance and a mate for me, go ahead, but don't disturb, let alone scare."

After that, he immediately put his things into the room, then sat on the bed and set the music on his cellphone. He burned his cigarette again, and in the midst of himself relaxing enjoying a cigarette, suddenly heard the sound of footsteps walking from the stairs.

"Taaaap,, Taaaap,, Taaaap"

The hair on the back of his neck, which had stabilized, instantly went back up the goosebumps. He was silent and waited for the footsteps to stop, until they were not heard again. He got up from his relaxed seat, opened the door to his room and then he got out and then stood in front of the door looking at the stairs from the front door of his room.

"No one?"

"Supposedly, if someone were to climb the stairs? It would certainly be seen by me, because the position of the stairs is straight with my room." Azzam said in his heart.

Azam also waited for a few minutes, but after a few minutes of waiting, but still no one came up the stairs. Seeing this, he became even more curious. He hurriedly stepped his foot towards the stairs, then looked around the stairs including looking downstairs from the stairs. However, the result was the same, no one was there. Seeing this oddity, spontaneously all the hairs all over his body were getting goosebumps without stopping. Then he turned his body to return to his room while speaking.

"That's so stupid!" Azam said while turning his body.

After that, Azam returned to relax in the room.

"Tap,, Tap,, Tap..." The footprints reappeared.

"Hmmmm." He said he didn't care. Followed by a knock on the door knocking on his room.

"Knock, knock, knock"

But Azam still ignored him. Azam is very reluctant to open the door at night, if it is not accompanied by a voice calling. Not long after that, the sound of the footsteps reappeared while calling his name.

"Knock, knock, knock, Zam, Zam".

"Oh the Omah." Azzam said.

"Omaaah wait." He answered by mentioning the name of the house which was quite long and sloping.

Azam rushed to open the door to his room and then invited to chat with Omah while standing in front of the door.

Azam:

"This, Omah, I paid off." Azam said while giving Omah the boarding house money.

Home:

"Oh yes, thank you. Here I want to give you bed linen and curtains."

Azam:

"Thank you? I thought I wouldn't get bed linen and curtains. Hehe.."

Home:

"Yes, no, whoever is boarding here, Omah will definitely love bed linen and curtains.",

"I just washed this, so you can use it right away."

Azam: "Ok. Once again I thank you."

Omah: "Yes you are."

"Yes, have I come down first?" Omah said as she stepped her foot towards the stairs.

"Yes Omaah, be careful." Azzam said.

After Omah left, Azam went back into the room and went to sleep.
