Fabian stared at Landria with a look of curiosity.
'Who is this kid? I've never seen him in town before,' He thought with a look of curiosity.
Although others didn't see, he spotted when Landria when he jumped from the rooftop of the shop by right but was unable to react in time and prevent the kick.
Landria's looks also vastly differed from that of the villagers who mostly looked malnourished.
Fabian proceeded to get off his wolf.
"Stay right there and order your men back or I will kill him immediately," Landria shouted out again after noticing Fabian's movement.
Fabian paused his steps and stared at Chrysler pinned to the ground and then at the Flether wolf, he turned his face again and finally focused his eyes on Landria who was seated atop it.
"Let me help you make things easier," Fabian suddenly voiced out as he dipped his hand inside his robe.
Before anyone could react in time, Fabian flung something out with speed.
swwhuiiii~ Puchi~
The sound of flesh being torn through rang out as a black dagger pierced through Chrysler's neck.
"B..B..Chhiikkkk~"
Everyone's eyes widened as blood blurted out of Chrysler's neck intensely.
Landria's eyes widened as well as he stared at Chrysler bleeding out with an expression of betrayal written all over his face.
"How could you..." Just as he turned to the side to stare at Fabian, he spotted a projectile heading for his head.
Bang!
Landria felt his head go blank as he fell off the Flether wolf.
Plop!
Fabian had landed right in front of him as he struggled to get back to his feet.
Fabian pulled his sword from the side while still sheathed and swung it down like a club.
Bang!
Landria felt his head go blank again as the hardened sheath struck his head causing him to bleed.
"Stop!" Laura shouted out as she tried running forward but was caught by one of the bandits and made to watch Fabian strike blows to Landria's head repeatedly.
"Stay down," Fabian voiced out as he watched Landria try to pick himself up for the umpteenth time.
His face was a bloody mess at this time, his head was ringing and his vision was blurry.
'I messed up... I should have continued my attack from the moment I got the first one. I guess you can't reason with bandits, they don't care about the livelihood of even their subordinates,' Landria noted internally, deciding he would not make such a mistake again if he survived this.
The mana in this area was scarce as well so he wouldn't be able to gather enough in time to cast an attack spell especially right now when he was discombobulated from the incessant and merciless strikes of Fabian.
"Landria, don't try to get up again! stay down!" Laura kept screaming out with a worried tone.
'If I let it end here this town will suffer... Mira and the others might even get taken away,' Recalling the few days he had spent with them and how they treated him with so much kindness, Landria felt they didn't deserve to have such happen to them.
'Kill the bandits!'
He suddenly heard a deep voice in his mind.
'Kill them?' Landria thought with an expression of confusion as he tried pushing himself up again.
Bang!
The sheath came crashing down on his head again causing him to nearly blank out once more.
'I cannot let it end here,' The instant this thought came to his mind Fabian suddenly stomped on Landria's head.
"You sure are a stubborn one... you would be of use to us. Now go to sleep," He voiced out while pushing his leg down harder on Landria's head causing his face to bury into the dirt.
Landria kept struggling desperately trying to free himself but it was to no avail.
He found his body getting weaker and weaker as he kept struggling with his face buried in the dirt.
He couldn't breathe and sand kept filling his nostrils up.
As his eyes rolled to the back and he passed out, he heard the previous voice in his head once again.
'Kill!'
'Kill!'
'Kill!'
He had blanked out and could only see darkness at this point but despite all that, the voice in his head was still as loud as ever.
'End their petty existence!'
'Scum do not deserve to live another second!'
'Kill!'
'Kill?'
'Kill!'
'Kill!'
Landria didn't know when he started chanting the same words with the voice in his head.
Fabian who had taken his leg off Landria's head after seeing that he had stopped moving turned around at this point.
"Tie him up," He commanded to the subordinates behind but all he could see was their mouths wide open in fear as they stared in his direction.
"What is going on?" He voiced out and that was when he sensed the dark energy behind him.
The instant he turned around, he spotted Landria standing with his right hand swinging out a purplish-looking dagger, glowing with red runic figures.
Slash!
He reacted quickly by moving to the side to dodge but the speed of the slash was too fast so he couldn't get away in time.
The blade sliced through his left arm, disconnecting his elbow from the rest of his lower arm.
Blood splattered across the place as the arm flew several feet across the air while spinning repeatedly.
As Fabian groaned in pain while falling backward, Landria was already slashing out towards his neck once more.
"Wind cannon!" Amidst the sharp pain, Fabian screamed out while spinning his right hand.
A glowing white magic circle appeared in the air for a moment before a fierce wind blasted forth in their midst causing both of them to be sent flying backward
The second slash has missed due to this as Landria slid backward by a few feet while Fabian managed to put space in between them.
"You idiots what are you waiting for? Attack!" Fabian shouted out as he ran in the opposite direction while clutching his left shoulder area.
Landria turned his head sideways causing a loud cracking sound to ring out as his eyes remained widened. His left eye was currently radiating with a pitch-black glow, making him look extremely spooky.
"What's up with him?" Everyone wondered as they realized Landria was acting strange.
Three of the bandits charged at Landria with weapons outstretched as they activated spells to boost their combat prowess.
Suddenly a strange suction force came from Landria's body and all the mana situated at the area of the bell tower began to fly towards him.
Everyone felt the change in the atmosphere as Landria's right eye glowed with white light while his left eye radiated pitch darkness.
Dark scales grew out from both arms and his legs in nearly an instant causing everyone to let out gasps of surprise.
Gripping the dagger in his hand even tighter than before, Landria jumped forward while spinning in the air to dodge a glowing red whip attack.
A jet of spinning water swung from the left area causing him to jump up again and arrive in front of one of the bandits. The bandit instantly tried to attack him upfront but his eyes widened as Landria disappeared from his line of sight.
Plop!
He suddenly fell to the ground, screaming out in pain as he lost feeling in his legs area.
Everyone gasped again seeing two legs chopped off by the side.
The other two bandits panicked and threw out attacks crazily but Landria dodged all as he moved swiftly across the place.
Slash! Slash!
One slash each was all it took to cut both of them down as one person lost a leg and the other lost an arm.
"Wind Circulation ~ Dragon form level one!" A bandit shouted out from behind.
As he waved his staff, a mighty wind circulated across the air turning into a four meters long wind dragon that charged violently at Landria.
Landria changed the way he gripped his dagger to a reverse grip format...
shhiinnnn~
The dagger his father gave him glowed up with red light as he charged at the fierce wind and slashed forward.
A red arc shot out, cutting straight through the wind dragon.
Landria continued charging forward through the divided attack before leaping upwards.
The bandit who thought this attack would handle the situation had his mouth wide open in shock as Landria's body catapulted across the air towards him.
Pierce!
Stabbing downwards, the dagger pierced into the bandit's left eye causing him to fall off the wolf while screaming in pain.
Plop!
Landria landed on the ground and rolled forward but just as he stabilized himself a Flether wolf was charging for him with both forelegs outstretched.
With the speed at which it was moving, Landria's chest would cave in if the forelegs of the creature were to make contact with his chest.
To everyone's surprise, once again, Landria jumped forward...
Landing on the head of the Flether wolf, he stomped hard before jumping upwards once again while swinging out his leg towards the jaw of the bandit seating atop.
Bam!
A loud sound of collision rang out as the bandit was sent flying while Landria did a flip and slashed out repeatedly while in mid-air.
Slash! Slash! Slash!
The bandit received three strikes to the chest, causing blood to splatter all across the place before falling to the ground in pain.
Landria landed on his left knee while his right leg was placed on the ground with his dagger stretched out towards the side.
The blood on the dagger suddenly disappeared as the dagger emitted a small glow.
At this moment, just the leader was left.
The same man who had a confident expression on his face earlier now had one of absolute fear as he stared at Landria approaching him.
