Chapter 6 - 6. The Oracle

Beastlord opened the door and walked into a dark room. There was a dimlight in the distance.

The door behind him closed, there was nothing he could do but walk towards the light.

When he finally reached the light, he could see a white sphere shaped ball of light. The light was so bright it started to hurt his eyes.

Beastlord tried to walk away from the light, but it seemed the light was pulling him in.

And then almost instantly after he was absorbed into the light, the light vanished. He was now in another room, this room had q tunnel veering off to the side. A big chandelier hang from above him and there was a man in the middle of the room on the floor on his knees praying.

"Um, excuse me sir?" Beastlord asked "I am looking for the Oracle, are you the Oracle?

"No, I am just a person praying on the floor in middle of what looks like a temple." The man said sarcastically "Of course I am the Oracle. Do you have any sense, boy?"

"Just thought it would be good to ask."

"Here is a glass of water." a glass of water then appears in the Oracles hands.

"Thanks." Beastlord took a sip of the water. "So, I want to know about my mother."

"Ah yes" the Oracle said. "So let's just get to the point, your mother is trapped in Fort Ward. A terrible place where slavery is key to life. I must not tell you the exact location of your mother or it will mess with your destiny."

"Oh, well that sucks."

"Now, I know this was fast but, there is really nothing else to talk about go through that tunnel, it will lead you straight there, and don't get caught, or else your screwed."

"well, um ok, by"

The tunnel was magically bright. And the tunnel was very long.

He was not used for the tunnel being cold. He is used to the heat of village.

In the next hour, there was a dim light out in the distance.

"Not again" Beastlord moaned.

But when he got to the light he saw the walls were not made out of bricks anymore, instead it was stone.

He heard something behind him. He turned around and saw that it was now a dead end, there was no turning back now.

When he left the cave he saw town in the distance, that must be Fort Ward.
