{ Twelfth Year Of The Great Age Of The Pirates }
{ 3 Years Later }
The island that the main character was born on is called Gigantic Garden.
Gigantic Garden is one of the mysterious islands inhabited by strange creatures and dinosaurs. It is now the home of Cain and his close ones.
Gigantic Garden's coast is a savage warfront between land and sea. Heavy oceanic swells buffeted the shattered coast, eating rocks and ruins alike, leaving a jagged shoreline like a jaw of broken teeth.
On the far side of the island, a slow sinking brought the sea gradually inland. Where once lowland forests and floodplains stretched, the high tides drowned the land. There were a few beaches in the more sheltered inlets between the rocky headlands. These were the transitory homes of fur seals and sea turtles.
Patrolled by huge predators and prehistoric creatures, these inlets were every bit as forbidding as the other areas on the island to sapient creatures.
Located there atop one of the tallest trees was a massive teenager that looked as if he was a man, currently facing toward the glimmering moon.
What was odd at the moment was that the teen's body quivered for a long while, chest kept heaving up and down while both arms hang down.
The man's eyes were eerily bright red, scary carnassial teeth, and at the back were long, sturdy tails automatically raised in the air moving sideward.
Around his neck were shimmering white mane covered all the way from the neck down to his chest, defined abs and massive veins bulging through his arms.
Surrounding him was a heavy atmosphere caused by the dangerously sparks created by the man's traits when transformed. It was quite similar to electricity that struck down the ground from the sky.
This man was Ezekiel Eli Cain!
He looked at his paws, sparks appearing every once a second and grin unnaturally as he suddenly roared in the sky as if finally achieving his work and succeeding with a perfect score.
'At last, I managed to be clear-headed in this state. This might be the hardest experience I've ever gone through with the combined lives. ' ponders Kane, grin still plastered on his face.
He has tried to control his transformation 'Sulong' multiple times but he failed, resulting in complete rage destroying his area and devouring any creatures that he encountered.
Though when he snapped back to his senses, he didn't see any creatures but there was blood covering his body and splattered on the ground. So he naturally came to the assumption that he devoured practically leaving out nothing.
That experience enhanced his determination and need to control his state as he couldn't imagine going through this, eating humanoid creatures. He didn't mind biting the flesh out of them or taking their limbs by using his jaws.
He just didn't exactly like eating humans for no reason and furthermore, he was raging. That was unacceptable in his opinion. In addition, he probably wouldn't even recognize his allies or foes.
He suddenly noticed a couple of life forces nearby in his area and jumped down from the tree, landing destructively without care and sprinting toward his opponents.
Once he arrived there, he immediately noticed that it looks like a large reptilian creature with only two long forelimbs and no hindlimbs, as well as long, prehensile, serpentine tails.
They have long and slender, yet muscular, sturdy bodies. Several aspects of their appearance are noticeably skeletal, particularly their torsos and their heads. What appears to be the eye sockets of their skull-like heads are merely empty fenestrae presumably evolved that way to protect their enemies: their real eyes are set much further back, with the fenestrate perhaps serving to distract enemies from their more vulnerable eyes and acting as heat-seeking sensory pits.
The pupils of their green eyes are horizontal and somewhat resemble those of frogs and toads. The colors of their scales range from dark brown to dark green to a bone-white color.
Their jaws possess two rows of serrated, razor-sharp teeth.
'Where do they come from? I thought I killed them all' thought Cain, annoyance and confusion in his voice.
These creatures were called Skull-Crawlers and surprisingly they had existed in this world since he had once watched them in a fictional movie. This caused him to think if this world was fictional as well and if it was then his prediction was correct that some of those that have reincarnated knew this world far more than he does.
Surrounding him were currently three Skull-Crawlers, they were cautious as they walked around him and hissed at the same time as if they were communicating. They couldn't rid of themselves an instinct that kept warning them to stay away from the small, bipedal being in front of them.
Nevertheless being ignorant, One has flashed toward him and spread their tongue around as if to wrap Cain like a snake. Instantly, it was cut off with the swipe of Cain's paw and the Skull-Crawlers roared in pain.
"You must be a newborn child, am I right? Otherwise, you wouldn't be an idiot to ignore your simple instincts. You should know that last year, the vast majority of you have run away from me like a bunch of unending cockroaches."
Cain spoke as he walked toward the injured Skull-Crawler, the others were frozen in fear despite trying their very best to run away. But they couldn't for an unknown reason.
Cain jumped, landing at the head, and leaned back with his right arm raised and thrust down as it went through the skull head like butter.
The Skull-Crawler suddenly exploded, blood splashing everywhere as the spark of the electricity activated inside the body.
Cain smiled maliciously as he licked his hand and looked at the two Skull-Crawlers left behind.
"It's your turn and I am going to enjoy this like never before" laughed wickedly as he walked with swag with a large smile raised up to his ears.
{ 3 minutes later }
'They're so weak. This island is no longer useful. They all are weak.' mused Cain as he frowned and stared at the moon that was still up in the sky.
Suddenly, he recalled something about another person that his father will pick and drop at this island for him and Silver to mingle with. He had hoped that this person wouldn't exactly be weak and preferably stronger than Silver.
Though he doubted it if the person was closed to their age since Silver has made the most improvement during these 3 years.
His [Observational Haki] was the improvement he made. He had already automatically gained the [Haki] a couple of days after devouring his [Devil Fruit].
Combined with both, Cain couldn't hit him at all even if he tried his hardest unless he planned to tire him which would succeed but it wasn't the point.
{ Flashback }
The last time they had fought was when they accidentally encountered each other in this island, Silver had attacked first without greeting him because of a grudge he had for Cain when he inflicted the wounds on him before he left them.
Though whereas Silver improved in {Observational Haki], Cain's [Armament Haki] had awakened and boosted the best out of all his [Haki].
And so while Silver's attacks didn't hurt him, they though still irritated him, especially with Silver's trash talk dialogue.
Cain was very experienced with dirty talk and how his opponents try to rile him up with just speech. It didn't work on him but it didn't make it any less annoying.
Whenever Cain attacked, Silver dodged everything at the last minute as if saying 'you can never catch me' and so he cleverly smashed on the ground, disrupting Silver's movement.
Cain instantly flashed toward him, swiping his claws at his face. Silver in the midair immediately used his [Devil Fruit].
[Bullet Time]
As if time went passed, Silver quickly landed on the ground and leaped backward while Cain was moving in slow motion but he noticed something was wrong.
Silver then dropped to the ground on one knee, chest heaving as he pants heavily.
Cain smiled happily as he stopped his attacks and stare at his older brother, even though technically he was older mentally but they didn't have to know this.
"What was that? I never thought your [Devil Fruit] could make you dodge in the mid-air. This calls for a celebration!" said Cain as he walked next to his side, patting his back as if supporting him while he was breathing heavily.
Silver couldn't help but feel annoyed once again, even if his brother was saying it was a good thing because despite during three years, his attacks didn't work on him, and using one of his [Devil Fruit] techniques took massive energy from him.
He still lost easily and he could tell that Cain wasn't even trying. He didn't even transform into Mink or use his [Haki]. Add on the fact that he still had a lot of energy.
"Whatever. I'm leaving. Have fun by yourself." mutters Silver with a cold expression on his face.
After he calmed down, he rotated around and left behind Cain as he looked at his disappearing back deep inside the jungle.
'Is he still thinking about that? He could never be stronger than me. I mean I'm literally a different breed than he is. I hope he does not become jealous, lest I'll have to kill him. That'll be a waste. Furthermore, I like him.' mused Cain as his iris turned to slit eerily as he stare at the location Silver walked away in.
{ Present ]
'He should be alright now, right? He must have grown powerful once again, otherwise, I'll leave him in dust furthering his despair at my ever-growing strength. Oh yeah, what if the person father brings is more powerful than Silver? Poor him if that is the case' thought the mink fellow as he chuckled.
He started to walk absentmindedly toward his temporary home located in the tree as he started to guess inwardly what species and if the kid might already eat a [Devil Fruit].
'Hmm maybe, it'll be a fish-man. I've always wanted to fight a fish-man.' thought Cain.
Before Cain had arrived in this world, he had recalled that on the system where there was a list of many species exposed to him, and what caught his attention was obviously a Fish-man since it was claimed to be ten times as strong as a human at birth.
But what has confused him currently was that the strongest person in this world was simply a Human. Not a Fish-man.
For a race that claimed to be stronger than humans at birth, Cain couldn't help but snort in disdain at their species. He has a huge expectation that they wouldn't disappoint him once he finally encountered them.
'Though, I hope they aren't at least that bad. Because if there isn't a single fish-man that is not even at the top, just how fucking lazy are they.' thought Cain as he shook his head with a laughable expression.
He finally emerged nearby his temporary home, a small wooden surrounded by branches around it and leaves covered outside, a long ladder connected from it down to the ground for him to climb on it.
Cain instead of using the ladder leaped over and landed on the roof making a creaking sound. He opened the door atop and jumped down.
The place has a bed, round wooden table, wardrobe, full-body sized mirror, and a balcony that overlooks the large lake, as well as the surrounding tall trees, thus providing a gorgeous view from it.
Cain wearing black shorts, without anything covering his bare feet as he liked them to be as he developed a dislike for things that covered his feet since they were weak and always broke whenever he fought anyone. It was also a distraction to him so he didn't plan to wear anything like shoes, slippers, and the like.
He didn't have anything on top, bare-chested without any hints of hair. This island was unnaturally hot and so he felt wearing anything like tops was too inconvenient.
..........
Meanwhile, Silver was at the top of the massive carnivorous dinosaur that was currently roaring and it continuously smashed its own head on trees, hills, and the likes, failing to shake Silver off.
"Calm down, man. It's no big deal that I'm only standing on your head. It isn't worth dying for." said Silver with a perplexed expression plastered on his face as he thought he wasn't doing anything wrong.
Though, the response was devastating bellow in anger that caused his body to tremble with intense vibrating making him feel uncomfortable.
This, in turn, made him furious making him thrust his right-index finger at the dinosaur's left eye covering the finger with ichor and he pull it out along with the crushed eyeball.
"Now that was your fault. You deserved it." complained Silver with an indignant expression on his face as he shook his hand, ridding the remnants of its blood off him.
ROAAAAAAA!!!!
The T-Rex shook his head for a moment as if he couldn't stand such pain located from the eye and couldn't do anything about it as it then growled menacingly in absolute berserk.
Noticing the man that had caused it to pain like never before, it darted toward him with his carnassial mouth opened wide exposing his teeth.
"Wait a second, you want to go at me again after I took your eye out. What an idiot? I guess you are a simple beast. Let's go then!"
The T-Rex abruptly stomped at him but Silver dodged to the side and pushed its leg with just a finger making the dinosaur fall down to its doom.
"How weak are you? Just a finger." mutters Silver as he shook his head disappointedly.
He waited for a couple of minutes allowing the dinosaur another chance to stand and fight against him once more.
For a while, Silver had dodged T-Rex's attacks multiple times to the point that it made T-Rex furious even more and got more intense.
"Alright, that's enough. You had your fun. My turn." informed Silver as he played around enough and activated his [Armament Haki] on his forehead.
He then leaped over to the nearest tree allowing him to land next to T-Rex's head. T-Rex thought of this as an opportunity as its jaws instantly opened wide and snapped toward the tree, breaking it in half.
[Forehead Smash]
Suddenly, Silver was in the air while the dinosaur has fragmented the tree with its maws and swiftly landed on its head once again, smashing his forehead at its head.
The clash between Silver's forehead and the dinosaur's head lasted for a moment and resulted in knocking out the dinosaur.
"Oh no, you don't. After going against me, you have to die. Don't even think being unconscious will save you from me" mutters Silver as he swiped his hair back with a malicious smile.
He strolled toward the dinosaur that was laying down on the ground, unconscious, and pulled his left arm, then smash without holding back causing T-Rex's head burst into blood splashed everywhere on the ground and on his face.
"Should I find another beast or should I sleep? Which one which one? Hmmm" said Silver as he crosses his arm and tilted his head to the side.
He was in a similar situation to Cain. He was truly bored of this island and have wanted to leave for a long time but he needed to wait for his family's approval since he knew his own decisions didn't matter to them.
He had already felt he has improved enough to the point that any more training on this island wouldn't get him any more results other than keeping himself sharp.
In order to quench his boredom, he had gained a weird hobby that was bullying inferior beings, no matter the species and age. He had gained it when he fought the Gorilla in the cage for the first time when he took its eyeball out.
Though apparently, messing around and torturing beasts amused him which earned him a disgusted gaze from his family and the nurse but he didn't care.
"Actually, when father brings this new person then I will bully him. Though, I hope he isn't too strong, lest it'll all be boring once again!" complained Silver as he had enough of Cain.
He didn't want another so he randomly screamed with everything his throat can give at the moon causing the nearby birds to chirp and fly away escaping to another place.
...…........
{ A week later }
At that moment, Enzo encountered a teen that didn't act his age and gave him a dangerous vibe causing him to smile happily as if he found a goldmine.
The teen was currently leaning on the wall on his back, hands in his pocket as he stare at the middle-aged man with a large grin with disdain expression on his face.
He has short, spiked light blond hair with a small widow's peak and a notch on his hairline's right side. Dark black eyes with no other color like white on them.
He was currently wearing a white muscle-fit t-shirt showing his defined muscular arms, his figure between bulky and slim, and at the average height.
Enzo smiled happily, not exposing any vibe despite the fact that the teen blasted his aura at him filled with intense bloodlust that could suffocate normal people.
This was enough to tell him that he lived a life around killing people which ironically ticked everything he was looking for this time.
"Do you have family or any closed ones here?" randomly questioned Enzo with a calm expression on his face.
