Alex made his way back to the dorm. He found Ken, who was busy having a Merry discussion with a girl on a video call.
Alex felt like slapping the back of this kid's head. This dude was fooling around here instead of worrying about him. Wasn't he aware that Alex was invited by the dean? He should be praying right now instead of flirting.
Speaking of the dean. The image of the old man being a legendary figure in Alex's mind had unknowingly crumbled to that of an irresponsible grandpa who shies away from his duties just because he was scared of his own daughter.
Alex suddenly realized something. If his parents were found together, then could they be siblings? The thought alone made him want to throw up.
Ken finally noticed Alex's presence and turned to face him, forgetting to end the video call, and instead just dropped the phone facing down.
"Hey. You are finally back. How was it? Why did the dean invite you over?" Ken instantly started to fire a barrage of questions at Alex.
