Adriana remained silent as she focused on the happenings around the shopping mall. The arrival of fire personnel who were running helter-skelter to salvage the situation couldn't tickle her any more than it did.
"Good luck putting out the fire. Mtchew!" Adriana chuckled in annoyance when she saw how the manager collapsed because the shopping mall had burnt down.
The manager had taken a loan from the CEO of the Ferner shopping complex to settle a family emergency. He was promised a fat bonus by the management, so he thought he could pay everything back in six months.
However, the CEO only wanted to keep him slaving himself for his company, knowing fully well that some other companies were approaching the manager with extremely juicy offers.
