Dorothy didn't want to allow Ivanna and Katherine to just leave without getting a gist of the issue. "Katherine dear, I realized you didn't have much of the crabs. Thought they were one of your favorites." Katherine could only smile nervously and say "I was more attracted to the snail and shrimp, aunt. They are easier to peel and eat!"
"Ooh! It's the peeling huh. I'll have them peeled for you next time." Ivanna didn't wish to allow the conversation to continue further. "It's been long since I last had such fresh crabs, Dorothy. Thanks for the meal. I really had a good time."
Ivanna praised as she tried to curry favor with Dorothy Flynch in a rare sincere talk from her. Even though Ivanna spoke about her good time as a way to set the ball rolling for the reason for their visit, she was being truthful when she said it's been long since she last had such fresh crabs.
