Phil sat down on his seat not listening to Seth's discussion, he was still imagining how to best approach his situation with Jess.
Phil lost in his thoughts started to daydream.
A tall and handsome Phil was standing in front of the door when suddenly it opened and a beautiful Jess walked out clutching a stack of paper emphasizing her chest. Her red high heels clicked as she walked closer to Phil. She slipped and the papers were thrown in the air, Phil reached out for the papers with one hand while the other grabbed and hug Jess on her back. Like dancing in a tango both bodies were close as the last paper slowly drifted down and Phil caught it with his teeth.
"Pretty suave Phil."
Jess bit her lips as she ran her fingers down Phil's chest.
"Better be careful next time señorita."
Phil hugged Jess tighter and whispered in her ears.
"May I invite you to a date this afternoon mi amor."
"Glad to have you gwapito."
Both of them were getting closer for a kiss when suddenly a piece of chalk flew and hit Phil dead on the forehead.
"Mr. Craft what are you thinking about for you to be that distracted. Can you perhaps share it with the class?"
Seth asked as the whole class looked at Phil, while Mark was snickering.
"Hey, loser what was that puckering your lips for. Want me to kiss you."
Mark asked as the whole class burst out laughing.
Phil had his head down embarrassed while Seth reprimanded the class not to be noisy.
"Okay settle down now. Mr. Craft, please read pages 100 to 102 please."
Phil hurried to get his book from his bag while the class silently giggled as Seth shook his head from side to side.
After Phil's blunder, the class returned to normal.
During lunch, Phil met with Sonja and Eric while he excitedly ordered the food that he usually can't buy in the canteen.
"Can you finish all that Phil?"
Sonja asked as he looked at the junk food Phil bought. Phil was still ordering burgers and dessert since he wanted to taste all the canteen can offer.
"This is a rare opportunity Sonj, it's rare for Mom to leave me a large amount of money for food."
"Remember you dimwit that is for a week's worth of food. And you to Eric how about you help me convince him."
Eric sighed when Sonja glared at him.
"Yeah, Phil there's always tomorrow you know."
Phil sat down holding a tray with 3 burgers and a cup of ice cream.
"Yeah, this is for today."
Sonja wanted to punch this idiot of a man but held herself back.
"Fine, it's your fault if you collapse due to stomachache."
Sonja aggressively sipped her drink as she looked at Phil eating his greasy hamburger, while Eric ate his food silently thinking if his friend could survive the afternoon classes.
In the afternoon Phil was listening to his science teacher and was eagerly writing notes when suddenly his stomach started to hurt, Phil tried to endure the pain at first but as time went by, his stomach started to hurt more and become unbearable.
Phil started to sweat as he clutched his stomach and laid his head down on his table.
Dave, the boy sitting beside Phil, noticed him suffering he quickly raised his hands and called for the teacher.
"Mr. Kim, I think Phil is having a stomachache."
Mr. Kim, Phil's science teacher approached him and observed Phil, he then asked Dave to send Phil to the clinic.
Phil arrived in the clinic while being escorted by Dave, he was then asked to lie down on the bed while the school nurse looked for medicine to soothe his pain.
Phil regretted eating a lot during lunch and wanted to punch his past self. The school nurse came back to him and gave him some medicine, she then asked Phil to rest and sleep in the clinic. The nurse then walked out of his room and scolded Dave for loitering in the clinic.
Minutes after taking the medicine Phil's stomach started to hurt less and he slowly drifted away to sleep.
Phil had a dream. He was tied up in a medical gurney, while people in white lab coats surrounded him, they were talking with each other as they observe him, but Phil could not understand what they were saying.
Phil watched as one of the people walked away towards the door and opened it, outside were his parents, his father was talking with the man while his mother gasped and started crying.
A minute later his mother slowly walked towards him and talked to him.
"I'm sorry son but we need to start your operation."
"What operation Mom!?"
Phil tried to struggle but just noticed that his hands and feet were tied up in the gurney, and he also noticed his stomach was very bloated like it was about to burst. Phil's eyes bulged out and his blood ran cold.
"WHAT HAPPENED TO ME?!"
Phil screamed as the people in white lab coats restrained him while his mother was escorted out of the room crying.
Phil was sent to the operating room with the men in lab coats. Inside the operating room was another man but this time his lab coat was colored red, the men in white lab coats bowed to him as he nodded to them.
The man in red coat proceeded to order the others to transfer Phil to a special operating table, the operating table was concrete with deep weird writings on it. Phil struggled as he felt that something was fishy, the man in a red coat touched Phil's head gently and whispered to him.
"Relax boy, it will be over real soon."
The man in red grabbed the blanket covering Phil as he exposed Phil's bloated stomach.
"AAHHHH the day of his birth is nigh!"
The man in red shouted with glee. He carefully grabbed his scalpel and carved Phil's stomach with weird runes. Phil screamed but the man in red did not stop him from screaming, it was as if he was enjoying Phil's pain.
Phil's blood slowly flowed to the table and the grooves of the altar, the weird carvings now red due to Phil's blood. The men in white lab coats started to chant maniacally filling the room with their crazed chanting. Phil cried in agony as he felt his stomach start to pulse like something was clawing its way out. The man in a red coat finished his carving and moved away from the altar, he waited with bated breath as excitement can be seen in his crazy eyes.
Phil screamed one last time as his stomach burst out, the room filled with his entrails. A figure came out of his stomach and all the people in the room including the man in red coat bowed down to the figure in clear worship.
"WE PRAISE THE GREAT NIAH AS HE GUIDES US TO ETERNAL CHAOS."
The men shouted in unison.
Phil was woken by the nurse who shook him awake.
"Mr. Craft, are you okay. Speak to me, Mr. Craft."
"AHHHHHHHH!!!"
Phil screamed as he shivered terrified of what just happened.
"Calm down Mr. Craft you are just having a nightmare."
Phil started to calm down a little but he was still visibly shaking
"What happened to me?"
"You were just sleeping Mr. Craft because of the medicine I gave you. After about an hour of you sleeping, you just started shouting and I rushed here to wake you up, but it took me a minute to completely wake you up. I was about to call paramedics to send you to a hospital to see if something is wrong."
"NO DON'T DO THAT!"
Phil screamed startling the nurse.
"Calm down Mr. Craft, I will check for vitals and after that, I will send you home early."
The nurse proceeded to collect Phil's vitals.
"Your temperature is normal, but your blood pressure is high due to the shock you experienced. I will send you home now but come back tomorrow I need to check your vitals again just to be safe."
Phil went home after he came out of the clinic, he did not even inform Eric and Sonja on what just happened. Phil was on a high alert when he went home, every movement in the corner of his eye made him turn his head to look at it, he felt paranoid like someone was stalking him.
Phil arrived at his house and quickly ran upstairs to his bedroom after locking his front door, even at home Phil did not completely feel safe since he was all alone. He locked his bedroom door and desperately looked for the book of dreams to search for answers to his nightmares.
Phil searched and searched looking for more secrets in the book flipping the pages of the book aggressively. Phil felt his rage suddenly rising, he suddenly went mad like wanting to itch an itch in his phantom limb.
"AAHHHHH!"
He threw the book against the wall and huffed angrily, moments later he calmed down and looked back at what he had done, he sighed and walked towards the book.
Phil stretched his arms intending to pick up the book when he noticed the back cover had peeled off. Inside was a thin secret compartment filled with different papers. Phil examined the hidden notes and noticed that they did not belong to his grandfather.
The writings were older while some are written in another language and others were written on different kinds of paper.
