The silver light of the blue moon shone down to him. It was a cold chilly glaze, but to Kuu, it was but a calm glaze, after all, to him, it was the sun he truly ever saw.
Even through the thick fog of water vapour, he glazed upon the moon, there wasn't really a good reason, he simply felt attracted to it.
"The moon... I wonder how it works? Will it ever fall down?" He muttered.
The words he spoke was filled with nothing but pure curiousity, like a 6 year old child discovering the world. But, unlike a 6 year old child, there is no one here to answer him, much less be next to him. But he didn't hate this feeling, after all, being alone has its perks too, as long as you can handle the mental longing, you could do whatever you want without anyone judging you, you also don't have to pay double, resulting in a huge amount of money saved, but to Kuu, this part didn't matter at all, after all, he was by no means short of funds, in fact, he had the money to life 7 lifetimes worth of the most greedy, luxurious lifestyle possible, eventually the time will come where he runs out of it, but by then, he'll just earn it all back again.
[Maybe I'll get a travel companion]
The thought crossed his mind.
At the same split second it existed there, it was shut down by another thought.
[Nah, it'll be too annoying.]
__"Travel companion huh? How nostalgic, I remember having one a long time ago, too bad I don't remember much of it." He thought, whilst subconsciously tilting his head higher, turning his glaze to the dark skies.
He tries his best to remember even a single bread crumb, but it's no use, he could barely remember anything, the only thing he could remember is an although small, yet vivid memory of 3 words.
"My name is-"
It was a voice of a young energetic girl. From the tone alone, he could tell, those words were from one of confidence and relief.
Unbeknownst to him, a tear rolled down his chin.
*Yawns*
"Looks like my body's starting to get tired. Better get to sleep sooner or later."
He gets up and goes back inside.
As he closes the door, for a split moment, at the corner of his eyes, he definitely saw it.
A beautiful golden long hair, with ears that are slightly red, not of blood, but more of a blush, like the back of a girl sitting down, right next to where he was sitting down some seconds ago.
Out of pure shock he slammed the door and rubbed his eyes.
He then slowly peeked the door open and looked around, but, to his dismay, not a trace of a figure could be found.
"Maybe I should sleep with the lights open," he mumbled whilst shivering.
