At school

"PHEW..... I MADE IT!" Sofi says while gasping for air as she reaches the entrance of her class.
Everyone stares at her.
Sofi realizes something is wrong.
The teacher says while glaring at her, "Young lady, I do not appreciate you disrupting my class so early in the morning. Who do you think you are to just barge in here one minute before the bell? Look at you, you're not even prepared for classes! Your uniform is wrinkled, you have on two different pairs of socks, your hair isn't brushed, and you don't even have your school bag. Do you think this is a joke!? Go take the seat at the back of the class; I don't want to have such an eyesore at the front of my class!"
In Sofi's mind: I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS TEACHER! HOW COULD THEY SCOLD ME LIKE THAT.....I MEAN I GUESS IT IS MY FAULT FOR STAYING UP UNTIL 4 AM WATCHING A NEW ROMANCE ANIME THAT JUST CAME OUT, BUT SO WHAT?!? Ugh whatever.... I can't believe I really forgot my school bag
"At least I got a seat by the window" Sofi says as she stares at the clouds in the sky.
Lunchtime
Sofi immediately leaves the classroom and walks to the class next door.
"Hey, it's lunchtime, wanna eat together?" Sofi asks her 'best friend' since elementary school.
Jess: "Sorry.....I can't.....my classmates had already asked me and I can't break my promise to them."
Sofi: "Oh, okay, maybe next time."
Sofi smiles as Jess and her classmates walk past her.
Sofi realizes that the classmates Jess was talking about were the same ones who have been bullying Sofi since elementary school.
Jess' parents are friends with Sofi's parents, so the two girls have known each other for a long time. Their parents always made them play together and referred to them as being best friends.
But in truth, Jess was a terrible friend to Sofi. She would always make fun of Sofi with the popular girls and share all of Sofi's secrets.
This lead to Sofi being a reserved and introverted loner.
