Meredith's POV
I had an incredibly long sleep over the weekend. I didn't leave my bed at all, and thankfully, no one interrupted my much-needed rest. However, the weekend came to an end much too quickly, and it was time to return to work. I made it to the office early, as I usually do, and noticed that most of my colleagues were slowly trickling in. Many of them appeared tired and as though the weekend had not been long enough for them.
I made my way over to the accounting department, patiently waiting for them to complete the report. Although they took their time, I didn't have any room to complain. As soon as I received the report, I conducted a thorough analysis of the return and was relieved to find that it was looking quite promising. Despite the considerable amount we had spent, we were able to recuperate all of it and even made some profit.
