Matthews POV
I arrived at the mansion in no time, Mum and Dad were home. "It's so good for you to visit us," my mum said with a smile as she came to hug me and hold her nose. I guess I really need that bath after all.
"Son you stink," she said then turn calls one of the maids. "Amanda, prepare a bath for the young boss," she said and then turned to look at me with a smile. She seems happy for some reason and I believe it's because she got her way with something twisted.
"You are happy, " I said sarcastically. "Yes indeed I'm happy to see my son home after such a long time right honey, " she mumbled turning to look at my father and he faked a smile.
"As much as I want to know why, I would rather not ask because I don't want to know and because it's a lot easier that way. I have accepted the offer Mr. Macduff gave me," I announced and walked to my room. I could feel her excitement even from miles away but I needed this and only confirmed my suspicion.
