Matthew's POV
"Natalia and Zachary's baby was stillborn," she said taking a deep breath. Maybe it was for the best.
"I see, how do you feel about it?" I asked with mixed feelings.
"I don't know. I know how much Zachary wanted to be a father, as a doctor I feel bad, as a mother-to-be I feel sad and scared but as a wife whose husband cheated on her with another woman, I'm sorry but I feel glad. I'm glad I still have a chance to save my marriage. A chance to give my child a father but I feel horrible for feeling this way. An innocent life was lost after all." she cried and looked confused at her emotion.
"It's understandable, that doesn't make you a bad person but human," I said kissing her forehead to calm her down. She was still looking nervous probably confused about the future of her marriage, she held her belly falling back onto the couch.
The doorbell suddenly rang, "It must be Agatha," Lizzy whispered, Agatha is her house help.
