Meredith's POV
"The driver that caused your mother's accident that day, forgive me, the car your mother was driving was indeed sabotaged but your mother has always been careful on the highway. I followed her in her car after she left she wasn't speeding at all," he said in rage looking at me with tears in his eyes as if I was harboring my mother's killer making me equally guilty.
He wipes the single tears that drop down his cheeks and continued, "If that careless driver was not racing on the highway at that time then maybe, just maybe your mother would have made it out of the highway safely and perhaps the accident wouldn't have been that fatal,"
Yeah right, just perfect, just what I needed, for him to do the blaming game. I just stood there trying hard to process everything. It's indeed possible Mother would still be alive today if not for the driver or perhaps if he had stopped to help her.
