Matthew's POV
The morning sunlight streamed through the curtains, casting a warm glow on the chaos unfolding in my bedroom. My eyelids, heavy with sleep and confusion, struggled to lift as I heard a sharp voice cutting through the fog.
"Get up!!" The urgency in the command snapped through the air, jolting me awake like a sudden burst of electricity. Disoriented and grappling with the remnants of a mysterious night, I tried to piece together the fragments of my fading dreams.
"You are impossible, Matthew!" The accusation hung in the air, followed by the sound of frustration and disbelief. I could feel the weight of someone's exasperation, but the fog of confusion still clouded my mind.
"This is the last straw! Get up already!" A forceful declaration echoed, and as I shook off the remnants of sleep, I realized it was my mother standing by my bed. Her eyes, a mix of concern and irritation, bore into mine as she continued her relentless wake-up call.
