Meredith's POV
I still couldn't bring myself to tell Matthew the truth about the triplet but I would, I might have slept off, "Hey," I heard a gentle whisper, I opened my eyes to see Matthew and the nurses in my room.
"it's time to take your medicine and eat something," Matthew mumbled. "Is Gabby in already?" I asked pulling myself up to lean my back on the wall. Matthew helped adjust the pillow.
"Not yet," He whispered as they offered me the medicine. "You need more rest Meredith you can't have any visitors now," The nurse mumbled.
"Matthew," I turned to Matthew and hissed his name, my frustration palpable as I glared at him. He seemed unfazed, meeting my gaze with a determined look.
"Doctor, I will be here, Gabby is a good friend, and believe me, I won't let her stress in any way," Matthew hissed. His voice was low and firm, leaving no room for negotiations.
