Meredith's POV
While I was frozen in the armchair trying to figure out what was happening, the door opened, and the girl who was with me earlier in the room entered.
"Drago..." she stammered, so his name is Drago. For some reason, I wasn't surprised, and things were falling into place piece by piece.
He shot her a warning glance, making her freeze. I suppose he didn't want her saying anything in front of me. Then he walked over to her and pulled her to the corner to talk. She whispered something to him. He replied with a single utterance, and the girl disappeared, closing the door behind her.
"Our babies??? You must be delusional or something, " I asked quietly.
The man named Drago turned around and walked back to me with a confident stride. The whir of thought in my head made me gasp for air.
The fear was hauling me down, "I think you are starting to get it, " he said, reclining on the armchair.
