Matthew's POV
It was the most beautiful feeling in the entire world. Something I felt I was missing but now had it. All my life, there was one thing I wanted the most. One thing I so desired despite being exposed to the world, was love.
After witnessing hate and betrayal in my life, I still believe there is pure love out there in the world. Maybe not for me to find but I did believe. I hoped. A pure genuine love. This is because love stands above all things.
A deep feeling that can protect and defend. An immense feeling that we can not command, demand or take away at our whims. It was like walking on beautiful flowers underfoot that made your path brilliant. I found love with him. With him, I know what it meant to love.
But in life, we have choices, and each choice we make has consequences.
