Chapter 3 - CHAPTER 2

English is not my first language, so there might be a grammatical error in this chapter.

-------

Today is Tuesday, and here I am asking for transportation money. I don't have any pocket money or anything like that because it's summer and I really don't go out because I don't have any friends. And also, my parents aren't giving me any money for support.

My grandma gave me $5. I bowed and said my thanks before leaving. I already cooked for them, so it's OK for me to leave like that.

"It's really blue. How nice." I whispered as I gazed out the window at the sky.

I only have $5 and the bus fee is around $1. Here in this town, the bus driver only drives and there is an assistant who collects all the passengers' fees. When the man in his 20's comes to me to ask where I'm going, he can calculate my fee.

"Where?"

"Xxx University"

"Oh you don't need to pay"

I looked at him and tilted my head.

"Uhhh?"

"Don't worry, I got it. No need to pay "

I looked around and saw that most of the passengers were looking at me. I looked down while my face was flushed with red.

Why won't he accept my payment?

After 10 minutes, the man shouts, "XXX University." I hurriedly stood up and ran towards him, "Here's the payment!" He chuckled, "No need! I got it. " He paused and said, "It's your stop, ain't ya? Goodluck at xxxx university! " I got off the bus and smiled at him. Before the door of the bus closed, I saw his ear turning red.

Here I am standing at the front gate of this university.

How big is it?

Looking around, I saw many people who I think were passing their requirements as well. I knocked at the office door three times before opening it.

After opening the door, I saw a young woman in her 30's.

"Good afternoon!" She said

"Good after miss," I said, while handling my requirements.

After analysing my paper, she looked at me and smiled. "Oh it's you, Ashly?" I looked at her and said, "Uh yes, how do you know my name?" She chuckled, "Aren't you the one I called last week on the phone?"

Phone? What exactly do you mean?AHh ohhh

"Miss Elaine?"

"Yes, anyway, your class will start a month from now, so don't be late," she said while handling my schedule.

I looked at it. My class starts at 8 in the morning till 5 in the evening.

I bowed before leaving.

around 3 pm when I got home. I clean myself before laying in my bed. I looked at my phone and scrolled through Facebook. After 10 mins, I got bored.

I'm not really into the Internet or anything else. I prefer sleeping because I can rest.

I set a 2-hour timer so I could wake up when I fell asleep.

(I prefer setting a timer to an alarm.)
