She smirked at him, and he felt disgusted, like he could puke, but he controlled himself.
When he closed for home, he went to his car, but Liz followed him, threatening to even go home with him to his wife.
"Just tell me where he is," Liz pleaded while looking at him through gritted teeth.
"I wish I knew. Since he was suspended, he hasn't talked to me." Ken insisted.
He wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. He could not stand to deal with Liz any further, since he didn't want to snap at her.
Besides, he was really telling the truth. He did not know where in the world he was. But Liz couldn't believe it. She thought that Ken was deliberately keeping the information from her.
She still demanded, even when Ken had started his car and was about to leave. It was dangerous. Thankfully, Liz knew when to finally stop.
That night, Ken sent a message to Carey telling him about Liz's search, but he didn't receive any response.
