Only a few seconds ago, Anna had wanted her daughter dead for taking away her life, yet here she was, sobbing her heart out at the news that Hope was dead.
"How…how do you know it's her?" She asked in a breaking voice, and James slowly answered that they had carried out DNA tests on the body.
"At first, we thought it was Josephine. The body was in her house, and it physically matched Josephine's physical descriptions, but your grandson Ian gave us a breakthrough," James added, and Anna's eyes lighted up.
"Grandson? Where is he? Whose son is he?" She asked in a jovial voice.
"Josephine's. We have him in police protection. He won't leave until it's safe for him to do so," Maurice added.
"Why do you want Josephine then?" Anna asked, confusion written all over her face.
"Because we suspect she killed Hope," Maurice said in a low voice, whispering since the walls have no ears. Anna broke into a burst of loud laughter and said it wasn't possible.
