The old shopkeeper destroyed his own shop. The aftermath swept away the nearby buildings. Seeing that, the old man broke out in a cold sweat. He realized he had made a grave mistake.
Swoosh!
He fled from the spot. It didn't take long for the authorities to appear. Then they learned about the incident from the nearby shop owners.
"The clothing store bastard got senile," the adjacent building shop owner berated.
"Catch him before he escapes!"
"We need compensation!"
The other shopkeepers raised their voices as well. Hearing that, the authorities dispatched guards to find the culprit.
Meanwhile,
The middle-aged man who had targeted a wanderer earlier had left the city but stayed nearby. He was planning to join other wanderer groups.
Just as he was waiting, he saw the old shopkeeper frantically leave the city, as if he were running away from someone.
