I heard the voice from behind. It was her. If I didn't answer her right now, she wouldn't give up. So I turned around and looked at her.
"What do you want?" I asked her.
Leona Perry's eyes flickered. She was observing Vincent's facial expression and looking for any minute details. Her cousin was dead.
Vincent Carey was undoubtedly related to the incident. All she needed was evidence to prove it. Out of helplessness, she came in person to test him.
I saw her observing me. I laughed inside. I recalled that her attitude was different earlier. Now she looked docile.
"Do you need something?" I asked again.
Leona frowned. She was thinking about whether to confront Vincent Carey or not. If she told him, there was the possibility of him spreading the news.
