Norton coughed up blood as the gravity pressure started affecting his internal organs. The force also interrupts his spell casting.
It's the 1st stage of the spell. If it was 2nd stage or higher, he would have fainted by now.
As the seconds passed, the pressure of Gravity Force increased.
Tud!
Norton's back wasn't able to withstand the pressure. So he leaned forward to alleviate the pressure. Which gave everyone instant relief.
But that's all, a couple of seconds later.
Pfff!
He coughed up a mouthful of blood again. This time Norton felt the agonizing pain coming from his internal organs.
A hint of fear flashes in Norton's eyes. He gravely underestimated Vincent Carey's sub-taboo magic.
He doesn't know how to counter attack the spell. So he raised his hand and admitted defeat in front of everyone.
