From MC's Perspective:
The Black Airship hurtled through the sky, a silent vehicle in the clouds. I watched from the observation deck, the wind swirling past the glass windows as cities blurred beneath us.
Skyscrapers and towers of glass and steel appeared with the passing moments, but none of the wizards below stirred. No alarms, no magical barriers, not even a curious glance directed skyward. The airship sailed, unhindered and unnoticed.
I frowned. Something felt off. My eyes darted across the skyline, trying to catch any signs of recognition or action from the cities beneath. But the airship continued on its path, unchallenged. And I wasn't the only one. A few other airships crisscrossed the skies ahead, equally undisturbed.
"Do you have something on your mind?" Darcie's voice cut through my thoughts, calm and steady as ever.
