Chapter 150: Who us behind the takeover
The door opened and it was Pepper and Kurt holding a cup of coffee. Pepper saw the look on Martha's face and she knew everything was going to be alright. Then she went ahead and simply kissed him.
When she pulled away, Asher had a smile on his face, a polite smile.
"Who are you?" He asked her.
At first Pepper thought he was joking and she waited for the revelation but three seconds and counting he still looked at her like she was a three legged stranger.
Pepper laughed awkwardly before she spoke because it was either laughing or pulling out Asher's hair one by one until he remembered her.
"You don't know who I am. Is this a joke?" She asked him.
Asher looked everywhere but her face and then he looked at his mother briefly, his eyes were apologetic as he spoke.
"Is she the new house help?"Asher asked his mother.
